GLP-1 questions

What clients ask us first.

Reviewed byChristaney LeMaster, MS, RD, LD, registered dietitian. October 2026.

Can a private chef cook for someone on Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Zepbound?

Yes. Our registered dietitian builds a protein-first plan around your medication, appetite and physician’s guidance, and your dedicated private chef cooks it in your kitchen on your schedule.

How much protein should I eat on GLP-1 medication?

Protein goals depend on your body (height and weight), age, activity level, medical needs and personal goals. Your dietitian sets a target with you and your care team, then your chef builds meals and snacks to meet your protein goal.

What do you cook on days with nausea or low appetite?

Smaller portions of lighter, low-fat meals can be easier to tolerate: brothy soups, lean proteins, hydrating foods, and dishes featuring ginger and peppermint. Your chef keeps a few of these options ready for the days you need them most.

Will my menu change as my dose changes?

Yes. As your appetite, side effects and goals shift, your dietitian and chef adjust portions and menus with you.

What happens when I taper or stop the medication?

We adjust your menu to support long-term success, focusing on balanced, protein-rich meals, satisfying portions and nourishing foods you enjoy.

Do you prescribe or adjust medication?

No. We cook to your physician’s and dietitian’s guidance. Medication decisions stay with your doctor.

Where do you offer GLP-1 private chef service?

In St. Louis, Dallas, Houston, Nashville and Austin. Live somewhere else? Tell us; we can often arrange a chef for the right household.
